We are launching our new blog with a design project we did for the WordPress community!
If you don’t currently use WordPress or aren’t aware of the wider community, you may not be familiar with the term “WordCamp“. WordCamps are informal, community-organized events that are put together by WordPress users to get to know one another and share ideas and instruction on how to use WordPress better; they are open to everyone from beginner users and bloggers to experienced web developers. We attended our very first WordCamp this past year and can personally attest that they are absolutely worth your time (and one of the most affordable tech events around)! Because of the community-organized aspect of a WordCamp, and recognizing that not every community has someone who can contribute graphic design skills to their event, we thought it might be a fun challenge for us to try our hands at designing an Asset Pack that can be adapted for any event! We decided to go with a bright modern pink and royal blue duotone color scheme and added in vintage half-tone accents! The colors could easily be changed to suit a different theme or local-specific color scheme. We designed each piece of the pack in Photoshop with beginner designers in mind.

- 18×24 Event Poster
- 24×36 Room Schedule Poster
- Nametags (5 attendee types)
- Widescreen & Fullscreen Welcome slides
- Social Media banners, profile images, and participant badges
- Unisex and Ladies t-shirt designs & mockups
